Finding SuperCoach Team ID

Team ID is vital for many of the add-ons used in SuperCoach. Things like projections and multi-leagues etc. In particular, for the FFgenie spreadsheet. I've been ratting around for the last half hour nearly going nuts. The SuperCoach ID of every competitor in each league is clearly visible. Not one's own SC team ID, though. I swear it was simple last year, but now I've found it, I remember doing the same thing last year.

It's really quite easy, which is a bit embarrassing.

Step #1

Log out of SuperCoach. This was the step that was driving me crazy. It has to be done.

Step #2

Scroll down a little on the SuperCoach main page. Look for 'TOP 5 TEAMS'

Step #3

Click on the 'RANKINGS' button in the 'TOP 5 TEAMS BOX'

Or use this link (must be logged out)

Step #4

Type in your exact team name. The relevant box has 'RESEARCH' next to it. Just below the fold. Above 'TOP TEAMS - SEASON 2010'

Or, if adventurous, search manually by ranking/state etc.

Step #5

Hover the mouse over your team. The link will look like this.

http://supercoach.heraldsun.com.au/?p=other_teams&tid=71042&lid=1

The team ID will typically be a 5 (or 6 if you joined late) digit number. In this case 71042.

Voila.

That should answer the question of how to find SuperCoach team ID.

What is SuperCoach ID?

SuperCoach ID is a unique code assigned to each and every team. Any team can be viewed using team ID. Can track the SuperCoach team of journalists, experts etc. To the extent of seeing every trade made. It will never show the 22 players chosen each week, emergencies, captain or vice-captain. It will reveal the full squad of 30 players.

Anyone brave enough can publicly print up their team ID for all to see. I will happily make any suggestions, if desired. Gloating is more than acceptable. Or you may post it in through Twitter or Facebook, privately.
