Round 3 is the big trading time in SuperCoach. The prices will change after an AFL player's 3rd match. Fine-tuning the team is a must prior to Round 3. The previous week should be a week of NO trades, major injury excepted.
Midfield:
Ed Curnow has been a standout. A player who may have been given a run with role, I didnt pick him. Scored over 100 points in each of his games so far. A very easy choice to place into the team.
Tom Liberatore. Played him as emergency this week, was concerned he may be sub-fodder. Racked up a mighty score of 127. Early season worry that he would be pushed out of the team due to returning players from injury.
Defence:
Dyson Heppell. A magnificent pre-season, the only exception being an average NAB Cup Final. Shows excellent reading of the ball. As a defender for Essendon, picks up several marks from opposition kicks into the forward 50. SuperCoach gold, will enable his scores to be very consistent.
Nick Lower. Terrific first game. Second game was the substitute, so not much should be read into his low score. Always puts a smile to see a SuperCoach defender listed in the centre of the park. Given Mark Harvey's track record of backing youngsters, should flourish within the Fremantle team.
Forwards:
Luke Tapscott. A cruel leg injury stopped him from playing any games last season. A massive kick, another SuperCoach must. Long kicks are the key to a regular high scoring game. At Melbourne, it is hard to see him being displaced. Definite talent.
Jack Darling. Must confess to having not seen him play. Picked him in the team anyway. A big, lanky forward. It is unusual to see them score big each week. Doing a great job on SuperCoach points.
