Malceski Syd $274k 12gms, 52 avg
Late Update : Injury concerns
Badly interrupted seasons over the last 2 years. Coming back from a knee reconstruction. Sydney half-backs are generally very good scorers. (There are 4 of them this year, talk that a wing role may beckon for Shaw/Mattner). Malceski is the pick of the bunch for mine.

Ladson Haw $249k 3gms, 59 avg
Sorely missed last year in the Hawk's lack of premiership defence. Has looked poor throughout the NAB Cup. Understandable given time off. Will improve. All going well, should play 18 games. Due to being a defender/midfielder, could end up in more teams than warranted.

Hunt Gee $252k 0gms
Missed all of 2009. An integral part of the Cat's defence. Looks set for 22 games. Only query is scoring potential. Has scored from 70-80 avg in last few seasons. Perhaps not a buy for keeps. Very attractive prospect for the first 2/3 of season, then to trade up.

Kennelly Syd $321k 0gms
Another of the dashing Sydney crop. Has always performed well in SuperCoach. Starting price is major concern. Do not rate him as a stayer. Less potential for price growth.

Schoenmakers Haw $197k 13gms, 37 avg
A prospect to play all 22 games. A KPP (Key-Position Player), so SC scoring potential already throttled (see avg from last year). Useful foot skills for a big man. And a reasonable proposition around goals. Problem is, he will be mired in defence all season long. Needs to be groomed as CHB for the Hawks. Again, only useful for being in the Hawks '22 each week.
