SuperCoach Trade Advice for AFL Round 4

The biggest question on the minds of 50% of SuperCoaches this week:

Who steps in to take the place of Nick Riewoldt?

The Obvious Options:

Brown

The Brisbane captain has been in blistering form. A more mobile unit than in years past. Looks to be the forward of choice for 2010.

O'Keefe

The Sydney midfielder/forward has performed to expectation, perhaps exceeding it. Consistency is assured via a rotating midfield role.

Harvey

A magical last game, gathering 44 possessions. The week before was a paltry 5. That is Harvey in a nutshell. One of the most talented midfielders going around. Inconsistency is a curse in SuperCoach. It makes a team more fallible to weaker teams. On the flipside, a greater chance against stronger teams. In my humble opinion, Harvey should only be looked at for 'weaker' teams. To put him in a strong team would be folly.

Rioli

The Hawthorn little man has been a tackling machine. In previous seasons, have steered clear. Reason being that magical skills do not translate to SuperCoach points. A twirl and a dodge, a one-handed pickup are irrelevant. 2010 is different. Rioli is more concentrated on being the best small forward in the AFL. The major indicator is pressure in the forward 50. Chasing down Gazza twice is a big trumpet (Peterson joined in, also).

I already have the top two forwards listed above. Rioli, Mr Delicious, will step into the team for Riewoldt.

The first two are the recommended, but expensive options. Reimers, or to a lesser extent Grundy, may be worth a look in the place of Rioli.
