Best Rookie Midfielders in 2010 SuperCoach

Cheap, bargain midfielders on the go. Picking centremen, wingmen, taggers and on-ballers at a discount is very easy in 2010. Here is the top 10 of SuperCoach. Listed stats are from the NAB Cup

Martin Richmond $169k  3gms, 95 avg

Everyone will have Martin in their team. Huge possibility of playing the entire season.

Barlow Fremantle $111k  4gms, 89 avg

Promoted to the senior list yesterday. Another potential year long AFL debut.

Trengove Melbourne $174k  4gms, 69 avg

Has outperformed his draft mate, Scully, on disposal efficiency. Puts him ahead.

Connors Richmond $178k  3gms, 78 avg

Solid. The only non-rookie (debut) on the list. Plays half-back. Slightly reduced output. Certain to play a majority, if not all games.

Scully Melbourne $179k  4gms, 61 avg

#1 draft pick. Should play beginning of the season. Gathered more possessions than Trengove. Better for Dream Team.

Jetta Syd $114k  4gms, 65 avg

Absolute speedster. Will be inconsistent due to expected role. Also rake in the odd big game. Has shown he can score well with 12 possessions.

Banner Port Adelaide $100k  4gms, 65 avg

Talented, but has been playing half forward. Shown ability to kick goals. Again, scores will waver due to position.

Shuey West Coast $100k  3gms, 66 avg

Great inside player. Concern is amount of game time due to the midfield competion within the team.

Bastinac Kangaroos $94k  3gms, 76 avg

Super fit but also super light. Will play early.

Kayler-Thomson Hawthorn $83k  2gms, 81 avg

Likely to be promoted due to Hawthorn's injuries. May not get the chance to string games together due to rookie-listing.

Unlucky #11

Moles Western Bulldogs $89k  4gms, 60 avg

The midfield is too strong at the Bulldogs.

How many bargain cheap rookie midfielders can be squished into a SuperCoach team?
