Easy Picks in SuperCoach 2011

The no-brainer selections of 2011 SuperCoach. A solid core of players who can play most games with consistency is the key to SuperCoach. Important the players are on the right side of 30ish. Older players are more prone to a downward spiral during the season.

Goddard - St Kilda - Defender / Midfielder - $634k

Massive collector of SuperCoach points. Spends more time each year in midfield. Will be in most/all Supercoach teams.

Gibbs - Carlton - Defender / Midfielder - $508k

In 2011, can be selected as a defender. Too easy. A youngster - can be fairly confident will be firing at season's end.

Deledio - Richmond - Defender / Midfielder - $496k

Another dual position Defender/Midfielder. The only headache will be whether or not to place one in the midfield. If Deledio does spend more time off half-back - a guaranteed regular scorer. Will be less prone to tagging, which can damage his SuperCoach game.

Swan - Collingwood - Midfielder - $617k

Durable. Played all 22 games for the last 2 AFL seasons. For this reason, better than Ablett. Not the silkiest disposal in the AFL. Nonetheless, very consistent in racking up high possession numbers.

Chapman - Geelong - Midfielder / Forward - $567k

Somewhat injury prone. Makes up for it with big performances. Will play more in midfield this year due to the loss of Gary Ablett to the Gold Coast Suns.
