Cheap AFL Forwards in SuperCoach

Dangerfield Crows $333k  19gms, 63 avg

Played a good chunk of time out of the centre square during the NAB Cup. Not a ball magnet, but very sturdy. Handpasses have outweighed kicks too, unfortunately. Early injuries to Adelaide forwards could force more time in front, where scoring will be decreased. Then he can shift back (mainly) into the middle after hopefully just a few games. The investment will then be reaped.

Hall Bulldogs $366k  11gms, 69 avg

Blistering form in the pre-season. Settled into an ideal team. No doubt about selection. Just the discipline. Although hasty in judgement, Big Bazza has not wiped the smile off his dial. One telling incident was Hodge pretending that Hall had him in a headlock. Staging for the free. Bazza did not bite, and seemed to find the incident amusing. As if expecting to be goaded.

Concern is the sheer amount of goals he has kicked. The SC returns indicate that with the low amount of possessions he does gather in booting his bags - consistent scoring at the level we have seen will be difficult.

Ziebell Kangaroos $321k  10gms, 60 avg

Starred in his first year of AFL until injury struck. Was used sparingly off the bench in the very early season. Until it became apparent he was exactly the material North had drafted him for. As a second year player, now a 'senior' member of the youthful midfield at the Kangaroos. Will receive extra defensive attention this year.

Medhurst Magpies $320k  16gms, 60avg

Great pre-season. Could be back at this best. A lively small forward. That is also the undoing. Not utilised in midfield. Will be games that he struggles to have an impact. The standard lot of the permanent small forward. Wait for a few high scoring games, then sell him at peak price.
